Hi Everyone,

It was a busy few weeks down here for the Kilians. We had a string of visitors from up north...and sadly our last guests (Joey and Lindsey) left this morning. After my mom, Heather, Payton, and Sherri visited the end of July into early August...my mom and dad drove back down with our new boat (the Stay Classy!!!) They arrived the second weekend in August...upon their departure, Kyle's parents and his aunt and uncle arrived to spend the third weekend in August with us. They were able to be a part of Kyle's promotion ceremony on August 14th. (He was promoted to Major--yay Kyle!!!) It was a very nice ceremony and Kyle made a short speech where he recognized all of us---very touching. He even called me his personal drill instructor ;) We all went to a great dinner out for both Kyle's birthday and his promotion...
Joe and Lindsey arrived this past Thursday and stayed with us until the morning. They got to help us celebrate Jimmy's 5th birthday!
The Stay Classy has gotten some good use so far. The guys have caught a bunch of different fish and Kyle is psyched to get out on the water without having to paddle :)
Casey is doing great...I joined a gym and she was having some rough times leaving mommy to go to the nursery while I worked out...but it seems like she may be over that as the last time we went she didn't want to leave :)
Other than that, we are hoping for some cooler weather soon--and also hoping that hurricane season passes us by ;)
Miss you all--we'll be in PA from 9/7--9/14...come and visit us here anytime!

Hi Everyone...

All is well down here. We just had my mom, sister, niece and aunt down to visit. It was a great time. Baby Payton was a very good girl :) Enjoy the pictures of the girls!!!

Next weekend, my mom and dad are back down as they are bringing our boat :) Yup, for those of you who didn't know, we bought a boat! It is an older boat w/rebuilt engines, but hope it will serve us well for the time we are here and maybe beyond! Can't wait to get it down here and use it!

The following week, Kyle's mom, dad, aunt and uncle arrive from Thurs-Sun. Some big news from this visit will be that Kyle will become Major Kilian on Friday the 14th!!!

Hi Everyone...

It's been awhile, but wanted to wait for us to settled down a little. We are in Beaufort!!! It is very beautiful and historic here. We are still learning our way around, but enjoying what the area has to offer. Our trip down here was great. We got to stay at Aunt Dit and Uncle Fred's beach condo in North Myrtle Beach for a few days while we waited for our things to arrive from MD. We had a blast at the beach...Casey is absolutely a water baby. She LOVED the pool, the waves, etc. Our movers arrived here on June 30 -- Aunt Dit got here on July 1 to help us out for a couple of days...by the end of the first weekend, we were pretty much moved in! Just need to finish up hanging a few pictures and organizing the third floor guest room and storage area. Hope to have that done by the end of the month as my mom, Heather, Payton and Aunt Sherri are visiting and we can't wait!!!

Well, plan a visit with us anytime...we're anxious to see you and show you around the Lowcountry of South Carolina! And Casey would love to show you her fearless jumps into the pool!!!

Oh, and Jimmy is not a fan of the humid weather here quite yet. He has taken on the literal definition of dog-tired...dog days of summer...etc. HA!

I'm sure most of you know by now that Kyle got PCS orders (permanent change of station) orders to Parris Island, SC...and we have to be there by July 1st. We are very disappointed to have to leave our new home in Annapolis just as soon as we got settled in. All things happen for a reason ... Kyle and I leave tomorrow (6/11) to begin a house hunt in SC...we return on Sunday and hopefully we'll have a plan and a house!!!

I may not post for awhile until we settle (again)...until then, enjoy these few pics!!!

Hi everyone,

Glad to share the news that Heather and Craig's daughter arrived on 5/16/09 at about 7:40pm. Mom and baby are home and doing great. I already can't wait to get back up to PA for Memorial Day weekend to see her again. Casey enjoyed meeting her new cousin, although the first time they met and Payton started crying, Casey started crying too...think she was scared! I hope you are all doing well...hoping to get some pictures of the house up on the site soon...just want to hang a few more pictures on the walls first!

Hi Everyone...

We are all moved into the Annpolis house. We are getting good at the whole moving thing b/c we were pretty much all unpacked by Sunday evening! Just need to hang some pictures on the walls and it'll be perfect!

Not too much else new. Casey is loving this house as the downstairs makes one big circle and she does laps all day long!
