post birthday and easter updates :)

So Casey got a tent from her Aunt Dit and Uncle Fred for her birthday, and guess who thinks it is just for him??? He doesn't leave the tent all day long except to go out and get food!!!
On our way back to MD after a very fun filled Easter. She didn't let go of this egg until we were almost to Harrisburg!

Hi all,

Sorry it's been so long since my last post. We've been busy!

--Big news...Casey is walking! She's so funny...I know truly know why they call it "toddler" stage because she really toddles!!! She makes me nervous and proud all at the same time!

She is really talking a lot more too. Mostly it sounds like jibberish, but she says words like--

Hi, Bye, This?, brush, ball, juice, and repeats a lot too. She amazes me with what she understands now, too. I'll ask her to get me a diaper and she'll walk across the room and get a diaper. Just so cool!

--Other big news...we found a house in Annapolis. It is very nice and we move the weekend of 5/1. We go up tonight to do some measuring and I hope to take some pictures to add to the blog soon! It is another 3 bedroom, fenced yard, playset for Casey!!! We are still in a bay front community, but not right on the water this time. We do have a bay-beach so head down this summer with your towels and sunscreen for some funtimes in the water!!!

Hi All,

We just returned from a fantastic trip to San Diego. Casey was a very well behaved baby on the plane rides, she adjusted pretty well to the time change, and she got along great with Lukas! Kyle and I enjoyed visiting our old "home". We had wonderful hosts in Dan and Kristen...couldn't have asked for a better trip.

Now we continue the hunt for our new house. We are hoping to get to see a place we really like online by this weekend...we'll keep you posted.

Casey is great -- still not quite walking, but getting close. She points at everything now which is really cool and has started repeating "bye" anytime she hears it!

Oh--and Jimmy had a really great time at the Pet Resort while we were away. He got an excellent report card (not kidding, this place actually handed me a report card when I picked him up yesterday morning)!!!!

Hi everyone,

Big news down here in MD...we are moving AGAIN!!! We were very disappointed to get the news from our landlord, that he needs to move back into this house, so we are faced with another move--BOO! We really were in love w/the house, the view, the water access...BUT--everything happens for a reason...so upon our return from a quick vacation to San Diego next week, we'll begin the search for a new rental home somewhere in the greater Annapolis area.

MORE big news, Kyle was selected for Major this past week :) :) :) YAY!!!! He is just thrilled and so are we. We'll keep you posted on when the promotion is set to take place, probably not until the fall.

Casey is doing wonderful. She is still not quite walking, but trying her hardest. No new teeth yet, but 3 are on their way!

Hi Everyone,

Just a few pictures to share. Sadly, our Eagles did not end the season as we'd have liked them to. Here is our last attempt at routing them on this season. Starting the countdown until September :)

Casey is so close to walking it is scary :) She lets go all the time and stands for a few seconds (sometimes longer) and then goes back to her knees and crawls away. She is working on a fourth tooth on the top..still only two on the bottom.

Hi All!!!
Hope you had a great Holiday Season. We just about recovered down here and all got hit with a nasty stomach bug. We are all on the mend now. Kyle's aunt so graciously came to our rescue on Monday evening. Don't know how we'd have gotten through without her. Kyle was especially sick and needed IV fluids, but we are all better now!

I'm headed to PA on Sunday with Casey to visit my Nana while she recovers from back surgery and my Dad while he recovers from knee replacement.

Not too much else going on with us right now...I'm still trying to get going on the online teaching for University of Phoenix...the training and mentorship process seems endless and has been a bit frustrating.
We hope to see you all soon. If you ever need a weekend getaway...let us know...we're only about 3.5 hours away from the Lehigh Valley and a short drive from BWI for anyone who'd want to fly in!!!!
